Greenville has the facility to produce LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) and the logistics to supply the LNG to all locations across Nigeria. Greenville has the capability and proven track of erecting storages and allied facilities at the customer end. The aim of Greenville is to produce and deliver gas to all parts of Nigeria for existing industries and to revive shutdown/crippled Industries due to lack of power or lack of competitive power supply options.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Fleet Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Role

  • Achieve a Target Truck availability to the plant
  • Daily tracking truck on journey plan through tracking sofware; while maintaining constant communication with truck drivers.
  • Achieve Target Turn Around Time (TAT) for each Location
  • Plan & bring in an Efficient Tire Management to obtain average Tire Life beyond 70000kms.
  • On time delivery of consignment & Reconciliation of delivery for direct deliveries and operations.
  • Resolve customer complaints and dissatisfaction on Logistics issues.
  • Driver training and retraining.
  • Set up and adopt yearly KPI to meet key management objective
  • Close interaction with truck drivers while resolving driver’s needs ASAP.
  • Ensure Daily HSE, Pep talks to drivers before dispatch.
  • Plan and implement group policies on effective transportation of LNG.
  • Inter-governmental relations where required: Police, military, Port Authorities & other Regulatory bodies.
  • Initiate Disciplinary actions against defaulting team members including Drivers, as well as plan reward system for safe driving and correction against deviation.
  • Manpower planning, staff comprehensive data update and rate of turn over

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/HND in any discipline with additional professional qualifications in fleet management.
  • Minimum of Seven (7) years of working experience in a Fleet Operations role in a trucking company. 
  • Working knowledge in Fleet coordination and supervision
  • Must have proven experience and knowledge of Nigerian routes and road traffic regulations. 
  • The candidate will have experience in Fleet Maintenance Management System.
  • Knowledge of Journey Management System.
  • Knowledge of GPRS vehicle tracking system.
  • Knowledge of Pre-Journey Vehicle Inspection System (PVIS).
