We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Head of Account
Job Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Posting into ledgers using Accounts Software Package (Online QuickBooks Pro)
• Preparation and presentation IFRS-complaint Financial Statements (Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Cashflow)
• Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements
• Handling of Accounts Receivable and Payable
• Consolidation of Returns from Brunches
• Reconciliation of Inventory and Periodic Stock-taking
• Liaising with External Audit on the Statutory Annual Audits
• Preparation of Audit Programme
• Preparation and Monitoring of Company Budget
• Preparation of Audit Journals
• Salary Administration
• Handling of Tax Matters
• Regulatory Compliance

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance.
• ICAN Compulsory
• ACCA is an added advantage
• Required 7 years work experience as an Accountant in a reputable Organisation
• Excellent QuickBooks Professional.

Skills:

• Microsoft word
• Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
• Good Analytical Skills
• Knowledge of Accounting Software (Online QuickBooks Pro)
• Knowledge of Oracle-based Accounting Software (Orion)
• Effective Communication and Interpersonal skills.
