Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight to team leads across real estate functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Supervise and guide the execution of real estate projects managed by designated team leads, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
  • Monitor the performance of project teams, offering guidance on complex issues and ensuring timely delivery of real estate initiatives.
  • Ensure effective collaboration among departments, facilitating coordination between design, maintenance, estate, and cost valuation teams.
  • Approve budgets, forecasts, and cost management plans developed by the real estate teams, ensuring financial prudence.
  • Oversee dispute resolution and regulatory compliance while maintaining relationships with government agencies and service providers.
  • Oversee the selection, evaluation, and performance management of contractors, consultants, and service providers through respective team leads.
  • Provide high-level supervision on property acquisition, lease management, valuation, and disposal strategies to ensure optimal asset utilization.
  • Guide team leads in the adoption of sustainable, cost-effective design solutions and innovative construction methodologies.
  • Ensure that information security policies, facility maintenance, and property management strategies are effectively implemented by the responsible teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement by mentoring team leads, fostering a high-performance culture, and promoting professional development within the division.

Requirements

  • HND or First degree in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building or any other profession in the built environment. 
  • Higher Degrees/ membership of professional body and regulatory body (an added advantage), 

Experience 

  • Minimum experience: 10 years of relevant experience needed.
