Job Position: HR & Admin Manager

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview


  • The HR & Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions and administrative operations within the organization.
  • The role ensures effective people management, regulatory compliance, smooth office operations, and alignment with organizational goals while supporting staff productivity and growth.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Management:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for staff, interns, NYSC members, and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and support management evaluations.
  • Oversee leave management, attendance tracking, and staff welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal HR procedures.

Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  • Prepare and manage payroll inputs, including allowances, deductions, and reimbursements.
  • Liaise with finance/accounting on salary payments, taxes, pensions, and statutory deductions.
  • Manage staff loans, advances, and repayment schedules.

Administrative Operations:

  • Oversee daily office administration and facility management.
  • Manage vendors, service providers, and office supplies.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, trainings, staff events, and company outings.
  • Handle documentation and correspondence with schools, partners, and regulatory bodies.

Policy & Compliance:

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal guidelines.
  • Support regulatory and statutory processes including CAC, FIRS, NYSC, and other relevant bodies.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Serve as a key point of contact between management and staff.
  • Prepare HR reports, staff records, and administrative updates for leadership.
  • Support management in organizational planning and people strategy.

Requirements
Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles.
  • A Master’s degree or professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
  • Experience in an education, tech, or service-based organization is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR tools.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
