Job Position: HR Generalist
Job Location: Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sector: Construction

Job responsibilities


  • Coordinate payroll processing with finance and external payroll providers.
  • Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRIS systems.
  • Manage recruiting coordination, hiring documentation, and onboarding for all roles
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal policies across all entities.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist leadership with conflict resolution and employee coaching.
  • Assist with job descriptions, role clarity, and career progression frameworks.
  • Coordinate training, certifications, and continuing education tracking.
  • Coordinate and assist with business travel bookings for employees and leadership across all entities.
  • Ensure travel arrangements align with company travel policies and budgets.
  • Maintain travel itineraries, confirmations, and related documentation.
  • Assist with expense documentation related to business travel when required.
  • Support workforce planning and staffing forecasts across all entities.

Job requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or services.
  • Experience supporting multi-entity organizations preferred.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting hourly field labor and salaried professionals.
