About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to lead our Nigeria HR team.

Responsibilities
What you would be expected to do:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Work with the HRBP's to ensure payroll input is accurate and timely submission.
  • Perform the role with a global mindset particularly in rubbing minds with HRBP's in other countries to benefit from their experiences, leverage resources and knowledge and maintain coherence in our practices across the business.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Create an avenue for a healthy working environment which increases productivity and retention.
  • Consults with stakeholders, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Manages daily activities of the HR Knowledge Center, including, develops, motivates, coaching and providing training and guidance to team members.
  • Serves as a consultant and advisor to Business Unit HR, HR Operations and employees on aspects of HR knowledge based activities, initiatives and programs.
  • Handling employee grievances amicably and within reasonable timelines.
  • Works closely with stakeholders and employees to improve work relationships.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Ensuring HR policies are up to date and accessible to all staff within.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
You might be a strong candidate if you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Have minimum 8 years of HR generalist experience in related space.
  • Human resource Certification is an added advantage.
