Job Description


  • The HR Business Partner - Student Placement and Partnership Enhancement will play a critical role in facilitating the transition of our students from training to employment by developing and maintaining partnerships with employers and organizations.
  • This position requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for connecting students with meaningful job opportunities.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in HR, talent acquisition, and business development, with a focus on placing students in internships, co-op programs, and full-time positions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Executive leadership team and CEO to drive sales and business expansion plans.
  • Device means to boost organization's visibility and revenue through direct and indirect means such as training sales, training partnerships, and job placement.
  • Ensure that a minimum of 30% placement is achieved quarterly. With an additional 85% minimum of total projections achieved yearly through various established channels.
  • Work closely with graduating trainees to align their skills and career goals with job opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and HR departments to identify job openings and manage the placement process efficiently.
  • Collaborate with external organizations and industry partners to enhance job placement opportunities for trainees. Identify and negotiate partnership terms to benefit both parties mutually.
  • Develop a robust database with pipelines containing at least 30 contacted organizations monthly and a minimum of 35 conversations quarterly.
  • Handle company's human resources strategies and activities.
  • Maintain a healthy business network with continued communication on channels like LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp communities, and other channels to enhance lead generation and closure.
  • Coordinate job fairs and networking events to showcase trainees' skills and connect them with potential employers. Manage logistics, marketing efforts, and participant engagement to ensure event success.
  • Identify talent needs within the tech ecosystem and create strategies to develop a pipeline of skilled candidates. Use market research and industry insights to tailor training programs to meet future demands.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the client base by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. Promote training programs and services to attract new clients.
  • Review trainees' resumes and organize workshops and seminars to equip them with interview skills and job search strategies aligned with client job descriptions.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and industry analysis. Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and establish the organization as a leader in the tech training domain.
  • Offer personalized career development coaching to trainees, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies. Provide ongoing support and mentorship.
  • Enhance trainees' online profiles and professional networking presence to increase visibility and attract potential employers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or business development, with a focus on placing students in jobs or internships.
  • Certification in HR (e.g.CIPM,PHR, SPHR) is a must
  • Experience working in a higher education or training environment is a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to establish and maintain partnerships with employers and organizations.
  • Experience working with a Start-up.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of career development theory, job search strategies, and labor market trends.
