PPC (formerly Philips Projects Centre) is a wholly Nigerian-owned multi-competency engineering and infrastructure development company. Its core activities are primarily geared towards providing specialized end-to-end services for projects in ICT, Power, Healthcare, Transportation, Building Services and other utility sectors. Commencing operations in 1991 as Philips Projects Centre, an affiliate of Philips Electronics N.V. of the Netherlands. The PPC acronym was retained after a strategic management buyout of the Dutch parent company. Thus, with this strategic buyout, the old businesses were retained, with the added advantage of the exclusive distributorship of the numerous professional Philips' products, and the provision of integrated solutions based on cutting-edge technology.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Human Resource Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Provide counseling on policies and procedures
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
• Create and implement effective onboarding plans
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
• Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
• Develop training and development programs
• Assist in performance management processes
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Liaise with Government Agencies (ITF, NSITF, DPR etc).

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in related fields with 2 - 3 years of work experience.
