Job Description


  • As an HR Operations Officer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes and procedures while also serving as a strategic partner to the business.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Management:

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to fill vacant positions.
  • Coordinate the selection process, including conducting background checks and making job offers.

Training and Development:

  • Assess training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Employee Engagement and Relations:

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

HR Business Partnering:

  • Act as a strategic partner to department heads and managers, providing HR guidance and support to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management / Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR operations or related roles, preferably in the spa, beauty, or fashion industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) or CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) is required.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly
