Job Position: Human Resources and Legal Officer

Job Location: Abuja

Position Overview


  • We are seeking an experienced and motivated person who will serve as a Human Resources and Legal Officer to join our team in Abuja.
  • This crucial role will involve managing HR functions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and supporting the overall strategic direction of our organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both human resources and legal frameworks, as well as a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct employee training sessions on HR policies, compliance, and workplace best practices.
  • Manage employee records and maintain accurate HR documentation.
  • Support conflict resolution and mediation efforts within the organization.
  • Provide legal advice and support on employment-related matters, including contracts, disputes, and regulatory issues.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, etc.) is an advantage.
  • A minimum of years of experience in human resources and legal compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
