Job Position: Human Resources Coordinator

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary


  • Support the Human Resources Manager to ensure administrative matters are handled real time and proper records of employees are kept

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that staff attendance is monitored on a daily basis
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews.
  • Process new hire paperwork, conduct orientations, and ensure compliance with onboarding procedures
  • Coordinate training programs for new hires and existing employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, reports, and databases.
  • Coordinate the Monthly Performance Appraisal
  • Maintain accurate records of employee information, including personnel files and I-9 documentation.
  • Prepares assessment documents every 6 months for contract staff and ensures new contracts are issued in time. .
  • Scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events for the dept
  • Issuing deployment memo to new staff also transfer and redeployment memo as at when due.
  • Ensures queries from various departments are handled in a timely manner or escalated to HRM and ALL queries is log in the query log book on a real time bases
  • Maintain HR department’s calendar of events.
  • Take minutes of weekly operations meetings.
  • Facilitate employee recognition and retention programs.
  • Manage employee leave programs
  • Carry out any other assignment as directed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/HND in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
