Job Position: Human Resources (HR) Officer

Job Description


  • We are looking for a HR professional to work in partnership with our HR Manager and other key stakeholders to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions in line with our needs and priorities. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and introducing HR functions in our growing organization. 
  • Supporting the development and implementation of CIL Academy program.
  • Ability to take up the training and development initiatives in the organization.
  • Identify training gaps,  needs and find solutions to them.
  • Delivering key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management.  
  • Analyzing and reporting HR information to support with benchmarking and the development of HR strategies and solutions. 
  • Responsible for recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the recruitment process in general
  • Dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance and employee relations issues.
  • Identifying HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives.  
  • Ensuring that all internal and external reporting requirements are satisfied through the provision of management information and HR returns.  
  • Maintaining a clear understanding and providing up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates; developing HR policies in line with current legislation and keeping abreast of modern HR procedures and best practice.  
  • Supporting the development and implementation of pay and reward strategy e.g. through support with pay negotiations, production of annual reward statements, operation of annual performance review and bonus allocation process. 
  • Support and assist in payroll management 

Critical Success Factors:

  • Baseline roles to global technology workforce demands, Recruitment and Line Management - artefacts, processes, standards, etc.
  • Drive training and development initiative 
  • Driving Continual Personal Development (CPD) across the organisation - technical, soft, personal, and other competencies
  • Accountable for all compliance with all local regulation

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • 3 - 4 years of experience.
  • Must have completed NYSC

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
