Role Summary


  • The Head of Human Resources (HR) will lead the HR department of our healthcare support service provider, focusing on strategic development, organizational improvement, and planning. This role requires a visionary leader who can design and implement HR strategies that align with our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare support services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's strategic goals and objectives
  • Lead organizational development initiatives to improve performance, productivity, and employee engagement
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR policies with business needs.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Implement effective succession planning and leadership development programs.
  • Drive the design and delivery of employee training and development programs.
  • Analyze and utilize HR metrics to inform strategic decisions and improve HR processes.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
  • Lead change management efforts to facilitate organizational transformation.
  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements
Education:

  • B.Sc in HR / Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Sociology or related fields
  • Member of one or more of the following professional bodies; Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry
  • Proven track record in strategic HR planning and organizational development.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry's challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate should have strong capabilities in HR strategy formulation, executive head-hunting, talent sourcing & screening, organizational culture, talent engagement, talent development, performance management, and employer branding. Personal:
  • Candidate must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build rapport across various stakeholders
  • Candidate must be highly proficient in problem solving, analytical thinking, and communication.

Salary

  • N300,000 - N450,000 Monthly plus competitive benefits
