MEDLOG Logistics Services Nigeria Limited is a company based in Lagos with its Head Office in Apapa. It is the logistics arm of MSc, enabling a one-stop-shop for global supply chain operations. With a presence in 70 countries and over 12 million TEU handled per year, MEDLOG is one of the world’s largest inland transport and logistics providers in terms of the extensive geography covered by its services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Human Resources Officer

Job Location: Lagos

About the Opportunity

• The HR Officer would support core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, record-keeping, and administrative tasks. 
• The successful candidate would assist with HR processes, ensuring accurate data, and providing support to the HR team.

Key Responsibilities

• Be actively involved in recruitment
• Support the onboarding plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records according to policy and legal requirements
• Handle employee inquiries and provide HR information
• Prepare reports and presentations
• Support compliance with HR policies and regulations
• Support the organization of training and development programs.
• Coordinate meetings and events for the HR department
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives

Educational Qualification and Experience

• A minimum of B.Sc Degree qualification with 1- 2 years of HR experience
• Working knowledge of MS office
• HR Credentials (e.g. CIPM, etc.)

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience as HR officer or other HR position
• Knowledge of HR functions
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of HRIS software is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong ethics and reliability.
