Job Position: Instrumentation Engineer
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Instrumentation setup in instrumentation lab
  • Provide technical guidance, support, training, and expertise to plant.
  • Monitor Instrumentation system performance across all plant units.
  • Assess Instrumentation performance and recommend improvements for system optimization.
  • Develop and maintain lifecycle management activities for instrumentation systems.
  • Establish auditing guidelines and perform instrument audits.
  • Lead the development of new strategies and validate the feasibility of improving company productivity.
  • Provide awareness sessions and lead technical exchanges and conferences.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Instrumentation and contribute to the troubleshooting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation and control engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in refining /oil and gas plants /petrochemical industries.
  • Proficient in the codes and standards within the oil and gas industry, i.e., API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of metering systems.
  • Conversant with Shell DEP, TotalEnergies GS
  • Familiarity with field instrument types and applications.
  • Working knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes.

Software:

  • INTOOLS
  • Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • AutoCAD 2D and 3D
  • 3D model – PDMS/E3D/Auto Plant 3D
  • NavisWorks.

Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 / month.
