Job Position: Internal Control Manager
Job Location: Osun

Job Description

• Conduct regular audits to verify whether departments follow the established procedures and processes also develop policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor compliance.
• Review existing accounting and financial controls and other legal compliance processes in place and make any necessary revisions or additions.
• Develop policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor compliance.
• Carry out control functions, reviews and approve disbursements requests and other requests.
• Monitor and provide advice to management to minimize risk resulting from poor controls.
• Conduct audit testing of potential risk areas and identify reportable issues.

Person Specifications
Suitable applicants must possess:

• A first degree in Accounting or Agricultural related field
• Membership of an accounting professional body will be an added advantage
• Practical experience in Agro-business development and management of agriculture focused projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, such as Word and Excel, is required and ability to use tools to compile reports.
• Minimum of 5 years professional work experience out of which 3 years should be in the agricultural sector.
• Willingness to relocate or stay in Osun state.
