Job Position: Inventory Officer (Cosmetics)

Job Description

• Our client is looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working, and experienced inventory officer to join our team.
• You are responsible for managing receiving and dispatching goods, as well as tracking each item as it enters the establishment through records of what’s been sold and where those goods go.
• Ultimately, you will be responsible for the inventory of all supplies and products that come in or leave the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue goods/products
• Record, track and monitor stock levels
• Prepare adjustment reports for inventories that may be missing, damaged, or spoiled.
• Partake in the reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system
• Monitor distribution of stock in collaboration with retail and wholesale operations
• Maintain stock records using manual and/or computerized systems
• Plan inventory orders/requests in collaboration with the purchasing team
• Check and confirm supplies against invoice and purchase orders
• Ensure stock is arranged in an orderly manner to allow for easy retrieval and ensure that stock is protected from physical damage
• Undertake regular stock takes (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual) to confirm periodic stock position
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• BSc / HND in Business or other related fields
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• High levels of computer literacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of accurately calculating and excellent numerate skills
• Ability to make and maintain computer records and entries
• Understanding and ability to analyze data.
• Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.
• Should effectively manage time and meet necessary deadlines.

Salary
N60,000 / month.
