Job Position: Inventory Officer

Job Location: Abule-Egba, Lagos

About the Role

• Valuemart Supermarket and StaanBite Fast Food are looking for a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and proactive Inventory Officer to join our growing team.
• The ideal candidate will oversee stock movement across our supermarket and fast-food operations, ensure accurate records, and support smooth daily operations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control stock levels across all departments.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using our POS/stock system.
• Track product expiry dates, damages, and fast-moving items.
• Work with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Prepare stock reports for management.
• Prevent stock loss through proper documentation and controls.

Requirements

• Minimum OND / HND / B.Sc. in any relevant field.
• 1–3 years of experience as an Inventory Officer or Storekeeper (retail/food industry preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of POS or inventory management systems.
• Must be trustworthy, organized, and proactive.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must live within or close to Abule-Egba / Agege / Iyana-Ipaja / Alakuko / Ojokoro axis.

• Competitive monthly salary: N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly (based on experience).
