Job Description

• An Investment Manager is responsible for developing and executing investment strategies to grow client assets, manage risk, and achieve financial goals.
• They analyze market trends, assess financial statements, and create diversified portfolios that align with clients' risk tolerance and return expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:

• Develop and implement investment strategies for clients or firms.
• Monitor and adjust portfolios based on market conditions and client objectives. Diversify investments to minimize risks and maximize returns.

Market Analysis & Research:

• Conduct in-depth market research and analyze economic trends.
• Evaluate stocks, bonds, real estate, and other investment opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and financial news.

Risk Management:

• Assess and mitigate investment risks through analysis and diversification.
• Monitor financial markets to anticipate potential downturns or opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and risk management policies.

Client Advisory & Relationship Management:

• Consult with clients to understand their financial goals and risk tolerance.
• Provide tailored investment recommendations and strategies.
• Regularly update clients on portfolio performance and market changes.

Financial Planning & Reporting:

• Prepare investment reports and present findings to clients or senior management.
• Forecast investment performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ensure transparency in reporting and adherence to fiduciary responsibilities.

Skills & Qualifications

• HND & Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in investment management, asset management, or related fields.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and investment strategies.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio management tools.
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions.

Salary
N70,000 - N100,000 / month.
