1.) Head, Enterprise Network Operations

Job Description
- To drive the end-to-end network and IT strategy, planning, implementation, operational management of Airtel Business Networks business unit.
Job Responsibilities
Leadership of Airtel Enterprise Business Network Teams:
- Operationally accountable and responsible for enterprise network planning, strategy and execution, enterprise network transmission and IP planning, implementation and service delivery, enterprise network operations and incident management, enterprise network projects and enterprise network inventory management and planning.
- Design and implement the appropriate systems and processes for trouble ticketing, fault tracking, SLA measures and service penalties.
- Develop key processes for managing customer communications, escalations and complaints.
- Agree a set of performance KPI targets and measures; regularly measure and report on network and IT relationship management and service performance against agreed targets.
- Initiate, conceptualize and deliver business change and process change initiatives, eradicating bottle necks that affect networks and IT services delivery and operations.
- Develop standard procedures for effective service delivery and management.
Presales support Management:
- Support the Sales team in business development and market stimulation activities.
- Manage the processes for scoping of the technical and operational feasibility of bespoke solutions and standard solution in line with the end customer requirement.
- Manage the trade-off between speed to market, cost and quality throughout the lifecycle of customer projects engaging stakeholders as required.
- Design and execute systems and processes for order capturing, order tracking, order closure, certificate of job completion, invoicing, revenue recognition and revenue assurance.
- Ensure effective management of a delivery tracker, for all ongoing enterprise services implementation from Order to Completion in close coordination with Network and Provisioning team and publish such tracker periodically (Daily, Weekly or forthrightly) for the benefit of sales and enterprise team.
Network Planning and Project Delivery & Reporting:
- Take forecasts from the enterprise sales and marketing team to design enterprise network.
- Lead the preparation of AOP & budget for capex and Opex including BOQ preparations & validation.
- Lead Preparation of RFP & Technical specifications, Vendor validation, selection and recommendations.
- Bandwidth and capacity planning & management.
- Day to day monitoring of KPIs of enterprise networks.
- Bring synergies with existing network infrastructure.
- Production of MIS for senior management.
Build a capable and motivated team to create a high-performance team environment:
- Provide clarity of purpose to the operational teams. Bring teams in sync with Airtel Enterprise Business objectives and create cohesive workforce.
- Coach, mentor and guide team members, ensuring high motivation and engagement.
- Recruit the right talent in consultation with function head, as per defined recruitment guidelines.
- Establish performance expectations and regularly review individual performance.
- Put in place training and development plan for members of the team.
- Ensuring effective RHCI activities and identify team training needs and implement appropriate learning interventions.
- Recommend appropriate rewards and recognition.
Experience & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (master’s degree in engineering is a plus).
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience in enterprise networks domain, with at least six (6) years senior management experience in an area of network planning.

2.) Head, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance

Job Description:
- To interface with the Telecom Regulator and other relevant Regulatory Authorities for the purpose of ensuring the continuity of its licensed endeavors and operations.
Job Responsibilities
Management of Regulatory issues including provision of advisory support on business operations:
- Proffer timely advice on business activities with regulatory implications.
- Drive planned business strategy for the successful delivery of AOP target.
- Collaborate with other business functions in the development of business models and process development towards attainment of organizational goals.
- Proactively identify and advise business on potential regulatory issues and commercial trends.
- Engage the NCC to ensure to maintenance of a level playing field and fair allocation of resources in the industry.
- Ensure that the business complies with a regulatory guidelines and submissions on time.
Guide Commercial Group from Product Conception to Launch:
- Work with and guide relevant departments from conception of product to launch to ensure compliance to extant regulations.
- Interface with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure Airtel is abreast of and compliant to changes in extant regulations.
- Assist in researching, developing and proposing regulatory interventions for adoption by the NCC.
- Establish and maintain a database of products developed and issued by Airtel, and an archive of the documentation submitted for their approval.
Design, coordinate and manage processes for internal compliance with regulatory prescriptions (technical & commercial):
- Define minimum service levels (SLA) for internal stakeholder compliance with regulatory prescriptions to ensure sanctions are not imposed against Airtel Nigeria.
- Design internal processes for holistic evaluation of regulatory compliance levels and manage the process to ensure they are followed.
- Drive end-to-end implementation of regulatory prescriptions to maximize business benefits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and monitor availability of all relevant documentation, across functions to meeting compliance requirements.
Regulatory support to internal stakeholders:
- Process and obtain requisite approvals from NCC for tariffs, products & services, as well as Confirmation of Reasonableness of Service Fees.
- Obtain Promo Approvals from relevant overlap regulatory authorities.
- Assurance of the fulfillment of responsibilities in relation to external liaison (CDR requests from security agencies and subscribers).
Monitoring and maintaining a database of all Regulatory compliance activities:
- Define minimum service levels (SLA) for internal stakeholder compliance with NCC prescription to ensure sanctions are not imposed against Airtel.
- Develop and maintain a Regulatory Compliance Dashboard and Risk Register.
- Collate and ensure timely submission of Group Compliance Reports.
Required Education, Experience and Skillsets
- A First Degree in Law, Economics or Engineering. Preferably a Law degree.
- Master's in Business Administration or a higher degree in any of the above disciplines would be an advantage.
- Ten (10) years of varied experience in Law, Engineering or Economics with five (5) years of relevant experience in Telecommunications industry.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of Telecom Regulatory environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian telecom, business environment.
- Previous employment with Nigerian Communications Commission.
- Ability to deliver in a changing business environment.
- Ability to communicate and influence team direction without formal authority.
3.) Business Solutions Manager - North Region

Job Description
- Provides the required and much needed Pre-sales, Technical and Operations related support to the Enterprise Services Business for efficient and timely Service delivery within the service value chain.
Job Responsibilities
Prompt and effective solution delivery:
- Responsible for initial Solution Design and client information gathering (including pre-installation site survey) for all Enterprise Projects.
- Coordinate with 3rd Party Vendor in order to deploy Enterprise Solutions and for Enterprise Core Network Maintenance and Support.
- Coordinate closely with Enterprise Support Team for trouble ticket resolutions, logging and closure. Also coordinate with Enterprise Sales team concerning the submission of proposals to clients.
- Attend to technical sales meeting along with Sales Managers in order to capture client’s request for service provisioning.
- Keep a project tracker for all ongoing Enterprise services implementation from Order to Completion in close coordination with Network and Provisioning team and publish such tracker periodically (Daily, Weekly or forthrightly) for the benefit of sales and enterprise team.
Strong Support Structure:
- Monitors all alarms and measurable parameters on the Enterprise network monitoring Application/Tools in order to compile a weekly/Monthly KPI report and including bandwidth utilization.
- Drive the resolution of all Enterprise Link Outages and faults in coordination with Enterprise Operations Team with regular updates on resolution paths and action plans.
- Supervise and ensure proper quality assurance on all 3rd party installations on Enterprise Client sites.
- Coordinate the technical support activities of 3rd Party vendors both during and after Enterprise Service Implementation.
- Assist in the Resolution of all client outages and push repeat issues to problem management team for promptly fixes and compile weekly Fault resolution reports to track service reliability trend. Carry out and track spares as part of ensuring MTTR when replacement items are required at CPE as subset of outage resolution on client site.
Service level agreement compliance:
- Ensure Compliance with the MTTR Clause in the contractual agreement with clients through proactive monitoring of service activity on each account.
- Minimize churn through effective management of customer and organizing Service review meetings at intervals.
- Ensures prompt resolution of Network related issues in order to maintain the maximum service availability. (Avoid penalty payouts /Unnecessary Revenue deduction).
- Confer with SLA performance manager and compile all outage reports for Enterprise managed accounts and make it available to Enterprise Sales Account Managers for reconciliation of such report with the customers when required.
- Assist with other documentations which might be required to keep track of (Enterprise service catalogue) - Enterprise circuits and database including Technical and commercial details.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Electronics with Computing Option or any other IT related courses.
- Professional qualifications in Networking such as CCNA, CCNP or higher will be an added advantage.
- ITILv3 and any service management exposure is desirable.
Required Experience & Skillsets:
- Five to Seven (5-7) years of work experience with three to four (3-4) years of relevant experience in
- Telecom Industry: two (2) which has to be at supervisory level.
- Relevant experience in IT/telecom enterprise services networking environment will be preferred. Good Sales techniques overview and exposure.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office suite (MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point) will be required.
- Good knowledge of Agile or any process improvement techniques.
