1.) HSE Supervisor

Opportunity
- We are seeking a talented HSSE Supervisor to join our team. As the HSSE Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) regulations and guidelines, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- As the Health Safety Security & Environment (HSSE) Supervisor, you will provide specialist functional knowledge in support of operational HSSE.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, Implement and audit the company HSSE management framework and HSSE standards and culture in offices, Depots and warehouses.
- Manage all HSSE matters within the country (especially depots operation and Whs) in accordance to corporate, global and regional standards.
- Conducts, update HSSE risk profile and risk assessments and ensure risk reduction measures are undertaken and facilitate risk workshops.
- Investigate and report timely all HSSE incidents including learning packs and ensure incident corrective actions are followed up and closed.
- Audit vendors based on company requirements and follow up to ensure adequate performance.
- Implement business continuity plan and ensure life cycle is followed up and BCM audited and updated with BCM centre team.
- Plan and execute HSSE training and awareness within Nigeria by using a TNA approach.
- Develop documentation based on the HSSE management framework and periodically review and audit the documentation, Support area HSSE to produce area HSSE audit for your scope.
- Track and monitor all new investment projects and provide support for any new business by raising HSSE section for BC cases and follow up until go live and ensure 6 months of HSSE assurance on new projects.
- Develop and audit the country HSSE Management Plan in line with the area and region strategy for operation, and project to ensure a safe work environment for all site employees, contractors, visitors, and community.
- Ensure maintenance and availability of critical safety equipment and devices in line with law requirements.
- Implement and develop at the country level all health & safety, security, business continuity management and crisis management tasks.
- To provide support to the operation by maintaining a visible presence in site and providing HSSE technical support.
- Implement critical control points and especially the visual control points to ensure safe operation on the site and yards.
- Identify, Implement and audit all applicable HSSE legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance.
- Support the HSSE Manager for any other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of HSSE regulations and guidelines.
- Professional certifications in HSSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
2.) Depot Manager

Job Description
- As a Depot Manager, you will manage all terminal operations in accordance with plans within the parameters of customer requirements, management direction and safe working practices to achieve maximum levels of productivity and customer service by optimum utilisation of resources (Medium Operations).
Responsibilities
- Manages, motivates, and instructs all operational team members.
- Sets priorities and structures tasks and goals.
- Has responsibility for the efficient allocation of all shift operational staff and the cost-effective utilisation of equipment resources to match
- Liaise with the engineering manager to maximize equipment availability and effectiveness.
- Ensure efficient allocation of all staff and cost-effective utilization of equipment resources to match the operational requirements of the terminal.
- Manage existing customers and responsible for managing volumes.
- Manage the Customer Service Team for invoicing, TDO generation, and NICIS.
- Manage Gate-Operations and Planning.
- Manage stakeholders and Government Agencies relationships.
- Provides effective organization and control of all terminal operations during designated shift periods in order to meet planned objectives.
- Coordinates terminal planning and operations to ensure the effective ship working schedules are set and maintained to ensure vessels meet sailing or berthing deadlines.
- Ensure that recognized safe working practices are utilized for all terminal operations and maintain effective implementation of safety policies and procedures.
- Provide the first line of response for emergency situations and damage assessments.
Requirements
- A Degree holder in a relevant field, having an MBA is an added advantage
- Have at least 7 years of work experience in running an ICD (Inland container Depot)
- Relevant certification in terminal operations, shipping, and logistics is a plus.
