2.) Internal Auditor / Risk Officer

Job Location: Ikeja GRA, Lagos

About the Role

  • We are searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented internal auditor/risk officer to join our growing team. This individual will play a vital role in safeguarding our company's assets, ensuring adherence to regulations, and promoting a strong culture of risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and corporate governance practices.
  • Conduct audits of financial statements, accounts payable/receivable, and operational activities, identifying potential weaknesses, inaccuracies, and areas for improvement.
  • Assess adherence to established regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Analyze data, conduct interviews, and review documentation to gather information and support audit findings.
  • Prepare well-written and concise audit reports, clearly outlining identified risks, control weaknesses, and recommendations for corrective action.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA or relevant professional certification a plus).
  • Minimum of 5years of experience in internal auditing or a related financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards (e.g., IIA Internal Audit Standards), and risk management frameworks.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive audit plans.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Salary

  • N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.

3.) Chief Operating Officer

Job Location: Ikeja GRA, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The COO will work closely with the Managing Director to oversee the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and financial performance of the Clayhall Group.
  • This role will involve leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the organization and ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • The COO will also be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the General Manager, Internal Auditor, Head FM/operations, & Head of Legal and Corporate, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to identify opportunities for expansion and innovation.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to department heads to ensure alignment with company goals.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, including property management, facility maintenance, and client services.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all operational activities.

Financial Management:

  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and financial performance targets.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Implement cost control measures and revenue enhancement strategies to maximize profitability.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the General Manager, Internal Auditor, and Head of Legal and Corporate, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance evaluations for direct reports, providing feedback and coaching for professional development.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence throughout the organization.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, regulatory authorities, and industry partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and reputation.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities to the organization's operations, finances, and reputation, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards, maintaining the highest ethical standards in all business practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Real Estate Management, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15years of senior management experience in facility and property management or related industry.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning, operational leadership, and financial management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound judgment, integrity, and ethical conduct in all business dealings.
