Over the years, it has undertaken many challenging projects and accumulated skills, know-how and experiences in Facilities Management, Procurement and Supply Services, Design and Build Solutions, Project Management Services, Building Construction and related engineering works.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Process Engineer
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities
- Carry out process engineering studies and provide assistance to any process activity needed to support operations at site
- Carry out process engineering studies within the context of site modifications (SMR) or field development/ facilities upgrade projects
- Participate in the SMR Process by following up on implementation of SMRs from initiation to completion
- Provide process engineering SERVICES towards SUPPORTING OPERATIONS through the following:
- Conduct process studies in order to optimize production for Onshore/Offshore sites
- Review & contribute to formulation of Operating Philosophy for new projects
- Review & contribute to formulation of Operations Manual for new projects and review/update existing ones
- Provide process support for Onshore/Offshore commissioning, Start-up, Ramp-up & Shutdown
- Provide process assistance to Onshore/Offshore Operations for technical operation problems
- Provide assistance for any process activities across production sites
- Provide process engineering SERVICES towards SMRs, FACILITIES UPGRADE through the following:
- Perform core process design activities as instructed by lead design engineer
- Undertake de-bottlenecking studies and recommend solution to optimize existing installations (Safety, Environment, Production, etc)
- Provide Process design and know-how within JV Operations and to other Departments and Divisions
- Ensure that Process Documentation & Design complies with COMPANY Rules and
- Ensure that all updated documents are sent to Document Control team for processing
- Participate in and prepare technical audits – PTR / HAZOP /HAZID etc
- Ensure contact with process specialists in HQ and liaise with HQ for integration of new Projects with existing facilities
- Carry out effective process design studies for SMR
- Provide effective and timely response to technical queries /SMRs
- Support Contractors to prepare Scope of work or review/validate process studies by Contractors
- Participate in site visits, Pre-studies, basic and detailed studies for process-related modifications to existing installations:
- Ensure that all SMRs are carried out according to COMPANY SMR procedure and within a defined timeline
- Track implementation of all SMRs through to completion
- Follow-up on the implementation of SMRs with Engineering, Construction and Projects Team and Site Personnel through regular/periodic progress discussions and site visits
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 8+ years of minimum experience in process engineering design in the oil/gas industry
- Should be proficient in the use of Process simulation software e.g. Proll, HYSYS
- Valid medical certificate acceptable to COMPANY
- Valid BOSIET/HUET (including CA-EBS) certificate for offshore missions

2.) Economist
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
About the Role
- Actively participate in delivering annual planning exercises: the E&P Long Term Plan, Budget, PRIME reserves calculation,
- Exploration & Appraisal budget, ASC932 Cash Flow reporting to the US stock exchange, etc.
- Carry out economic studies of development projects, exploration wells, new business deals, project sanction dossiers.
- Develop improved interfaces with technical and financial entities to improve quality and deliverability of economic analysis.
- Participate in the development, audit and validation Microsoft Excel tools /models used for economic evaluations and Essbase for data storage.
- Prepare and present to senior management the results of economics studies (i.e. Company management, CDEP, BR, COVAL, CORISK/COMEX).
- Maintain the economic model and the modelling recap with any changes regarding the economic environment.
- Prepare and maintain the Fiscal Summary Sheet of assets in charge with annual update.
- Keep abreast of new approaches and proposed alternative approaches to Economic studies.
- Acquire and develop competencies on different economic models (aim at least 1 new per year), and the associated contractual and fiscal information.
Requirements
- Graduate in a Technical, Finance or Economics Discipline
- Highly experienced in the use of Microsoft excel and economics modelling
- High level of computer literacy – Microsoft Excel / Visual Basic
- Highly numerate, analytical thinking, detailed oriented,
- Synthesis capabilities and capacity to escalate messages to senior management
- Experience in technical upstream “metier”: preferable but not mandatory.

3.) Contracts Engineer / Buyer (ECP/GSR - LOS)

About the Role
- Responsible for pre-award preparation, negotiation, award and monitoring the administration of Contracts for works/goods/services in such a manner as to ensure the Company’s best commercial interests are both served and protected, while monitoring relevant markets and supporting contractor performance management.
- Organize and control all process-based activities relating to offshore service contracts in assigned portfolio including strategies, pre-qualifications, tender list development, issues of ITT, analysis of tenders, contract negotiations and the preparation of contractual documentation.
- Proactively work with the métier partners (Technical Duets) to build and maintain relationships with contractors / suppliers and monitor their performance by participating in contract performance management activities.
- Liaise closely with the relevant Global Category Manager to locally deploy TGP strategy and comply with TGP governance.
- Actively pursue contracting synergy opportunities for all business requirements.
- Actively contribute to the 3C program by delivery of costs savings without compromising safety or quality.
- Provide proactive and timely advice and support to internal and external stakeholders in all matters relating to Contracts & Procurement, including operating as a ‘Duet’ with the technical counterpart to promote effective contract planning, management and performance.
- Utilize approved standard contract documentation and ensure compliance with standard contracting principles during negotiations.
- Comply with all applicable Supply Chain rules, governance, and process.
- Ensure that contractor / supplier selection is carried out in accordance with Company requirements and Compliance Program and that safety and environmental assessments are part of the selection process.
- Mitigate project risk through pro-active management and negotiation of contractual disputes. Support settlement of claims, in conjunction with senior management and Legal, by proposing strategies and actions and by participating in negotiations.
- Contribute to the process of continuous improvement, including participation in and promotion of Lean initiatives and adoption and sharing of best practice.
- Prepare and Present (where required) Contracts Committee presentations.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSEQ Policy and actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSEQ standards.
- Effectively and efficiently use all Supply Chain Tools (SAP, E-Sourcing, AGORA, Etc.) to ensure all required information is available in a timely manner and fully auditable.
- Ensure information of portfolio is systematically updated in the Master Procurement
- Plan while maintaining an up-to-date contract portfolio status.
Requirements
- Fluent in English Language
- 3 to 5 years of experience in oil and gas industry of which 2 years should be as a contract Engineer.
- Demonstrable general knowledge and understanding of commercial, legal and insurance issues affecting the company in general.
- A Degree in Engineering, Management or Social Sciences (preferably Supply Chain)
- Membership of relevant professional bodies in the Supply Chain and in Operational functions will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Very good organizational skills
- Reasonable knowledge of SAP tool.
