We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Junior Accounts Officer

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


  • Manages an accurate financial administration (creditors, debtors, salary administration, ledgers) and monitors the cash flow, the goods flow, accounts, and other financial transactions accurately.
  • Creates and manages the Chart of Accounts.
  • Analyzes financial discrepancies and ensures all discrepancies are discussed and resolved with the concerned department.
  • Reports unsolved discrepancies to the Line Manager.
  • Ensures all invoices for OPEX and CAPEX (goods, services, utilities and investments) are coded and booked accurately.
  • Ensures the invoices are controlled and approved by the line management, before processing in the bookkeeping system.
  • Sets up a monthly report.
  • Develops control policies and processes.
  • Prepares estimates, invoices, and purchase order.
  • Responsible for the preparation of Monthly and Annual budgets.
  • Post all expenses and receivables daily.
  • Prepares monthly management and accounting reports.
  • Maintains and updates product/service list and pricing on QuickBooks.
  • Work in collaboration with Operations with respect to BOMs, to maintain an accurate Cost of goods and pricing of products and services on Quickbooks to reveal actual profit margin
  • Verifies payroll and ensures in collaboration with HR, that salaries are paid to the B.O.S employees on time
  • Uploads approved payments on Company Internet Banking platform
  • Maintains cordial and professional relationship with Company’s bank relationship officers
  • Follows up with the Business Operations Manager on outstanding payments from Clients and sends reminders on Quickbooks.
  • Maintains accurate data of approved vendors on Quickbooks and prepares Purchase Orders
  • Monitors and updates Inventory list on Quickbooks
  • Responsible for transacting with company’s Bank accounts.
  • Ensures the right VAT administration & Federal Tax is applied in the company.
  • Manages the receipts and deposits of cash and bank transactions, including foreign transfers, to ensure the accuracy of BOS’ financial position.
  • Manages processing of invoices, prepares cheques, monitors payment terms, and maintains appropriate records.
  • Ensures that the financial management reports are produced on a timely basis.
  • Manages all State and Federal tax receipts.
  • Oversees the administration of petty cash funds and reimbursement after approval by the CEO.
  • Manages financial liabilities of the company, especially with respect to correspondence with our Bankers
  • Manages the invoices for company projects and sends estimates and invoices to clients.
  • Maintains company asset register.
  • Makes timely payment to the tax authorities after approval by the Line Manager and maintains a good relationship with the tax authorities.
  • Carries out price verification
  • Other duties as assigned.

2.) Company Driver

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • Drive the vehicle safely to the desired destination.
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance checks by filling the weekly vehicle checklist.
  • Keep track of vehicle document and facilitate renewal before expiration
  • Use safe driving principles, practices, and techniques always.
  • Utilize navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
  • Interact with the Company staff in a professional conduct.
  • Keep the vehicle neat at all times.
  • Operate the company vehicle in accordance with all regulations of B.O.S, as may be provided in writing or verbally, and know and observe all applicable traffic laws, ordinances, and regulations of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
  • Use seat belts or other available occupant restraints and require occupants to use seat belts, in accordance with state and federal laws and not operate the vehicle unless all occupants are wearing the appropriate restraints.
  • Always adopt safety measures and drive the vehicle at speeds that are appropriate for road conditions.
  • Report all accidents or traffic violations involving the company vehicle or while driving the company vehicle to the Human Resources and Office Administrator.
  • Ensure that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always ready for use.
  • Arrange for vehicle repairs when necessary.
  • Assist in carrying packages and luggage for the Company.
  • Use company vehicles for authorized company business only which might be within or outside Lagos
  • Perform required administrative responsibilities that may be required for proper maintenance of the company vehicle.
  • Document and report any defects immediately to the Human Resources and Office Administrator
  • Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 3 - 4 years of work experience.

3.) Workshop Supervisor

Job Location: Epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Planning, organizing, and supervision of manpower, resources, materials, and equipment required to execute work scopes
  • Providing technical guidance and recommendation in accordance with relevant industry standards and best engineering practices.
  • Liaise with Workshop Manager to update job schedule’s route sheet, technical clarifications, update on job status and completion.
  • Communicating job progress updates to management effectively, including anticipation of delays and disruption to schedules.
  • Ensuring that production processes are in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance
  • Oversee housekeeping, safety and security procedures that result in a safe and attractive environment, and reports unsafe, unhealthy or hazardous working
  • conditions.
  • Implementing relevant emergency response procedures during emergency situations
  • Ensure that repairs are performed in a professional manner and in accordance with industry accepted good practice.
  • Prepare, supervise and control workshop activities, including the scheduling of work for technicians.
  • Liaise with customers and diagnose customer concerns with equipment prior to being booked in for service and/or repair
  • Ensures the availability and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for technicians
  • Maintains inventories of stocks, tools, workshop equipment and other supplies
  • Gives technical advice as required and prepares technical reports to line manager
  • Regularly checking the machinery and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow
  • Assists with Interviews and recommends for employment suitable applicants for workshop roles
  • Upon completion of normal repairs and/or service, inspect and test vehicle with the Technician who completed the job to ensure the vehicle has been repaired
  • and/or serviced in accordance with the customer’s instructions and manufacturers guidelines
  • Maintain a well trained workforce and supervise in-house training as required, to ensure the development and progress of all technicians
  • Assist toward keeping the workshop area clear, orderly and attractive in appearance
  • Assist in the coordinating overtime hours
  • Communicating expectations to production team members, manging their performance during throughout their employment and evaluation their performance duringmid-year and year-end appraisals
  • Ensure customers receive the best quality service by requiring that all jobs are completed correctly the first time
  • Ensure all client vehicles and manufactured products sold to clienys are presented back to the customer in a clean and presentable standard; most importantly
  • that all items listed as intact on the vehicle checklist upon receipt of vehicle , are are intact at the oint of return
  • Check and inspect that all tools are available and maintained in the correct place and that all equipment is in suitable working condition
  • Maintain a high degree of product knowledge on all Buckler’s product offering
  • Liaising with the line manager or supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager /or management in a professional and efficient manner.
