We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Analyst, UI/UX Designer
Job Location: Abuja
About the Position
- Dev-Afrique is recruiting a full-time UI/UX designer who is passionate about development issues in Africa and excited to work at the intersection of development, industry, and governance.
- A successful candidate will be one who is able to multitask, collaborate, and communicate expertly with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- In this role, you will be pivotal in crafting exceptional user experiences across a variety of complex projects, working closely with developers, product/project managers, and stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate should excel at transforming concepts into refined, high-fidelity mockups that effectively meet both business objectives and user needs.
Responsibilities
While responsibilities may vary, some key duties for this position include
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to define and implement innovative design solutions aligned with business goals.
- Conduct user research and analyze findings to understand user needs, motivations, and pain points, integrating these insights into the design process.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate design ideas and user journey concepts.
- Develop interactive prototypes to test and refine user interfaces, ensuring ease of use and alignment with project requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless handoff of design specifications and support the implementation of user-friendly interfaces.
- Proactively contribute to brainstorming and ideation sessions, championing a user-centred design approach throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2+ years as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related/relevant field
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles and the ability to apply them to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Meticulous attention to detail in creating pixel-perfect designs that align with brand and user requirements.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
2.) Front Desk / Executive Assistant

About the Position
- We are seeking a proactive and organized Front Desk/Executive Assistant who will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors while providing high-level administrative support to the executive team. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a polished, professional demeanor. The ideal candidate will have experience in office management, scheduling, and coordinating executive-level task with discretion and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for visitors, clients and callers, representing the company professionally while managing various administrative task.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team.
- Organize travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries for executives when required.
- Coordinate with office suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless office operations.
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and manage inventory for office supplies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Office Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an administrative, front desk/executive assistant role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

3.) Analyst, Software Product Manager

- A successful candidate will be one who is able to multitask, collaborate, and communicate expertly with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- This role requires a candidate who is a strategic thinker with a user-centric mindset, collaborative, and skilled at leading cross-functional teams to deliver valuable, impactful products aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
While responsibilities may vary, some key duties for this position include:
- Monitor the product development cycle, addressing any challenges and risks that may arise.
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives.
- Work closely with design, engineering, and project teams to guide products from conception through launch.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform product improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product progress, timelines, and changes
- Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to clearly define product features and enhancements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Prioritize product features and initiatives based on business goals, customer feedback, and data-driven insights.
- Present product strategy, updates, and performance insights to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensure cross-functional teams have a clear understanding of product goals, key metrics, and target outcomes.
Requirements

- Experience in product management methodologies, including agile frameworks, design thinking, and customer-centric approaches.

- Working knowledge of programming with a solid understanding of software development techniques, and able to effectively communicate with both engineering and design teams.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and any of the data visualization software, like Tableau, Google Analytics or PowerBI).
