We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Senior HSE Coordinator
Job Locations: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Service Dimension
- Ensure the health, safety, and environmental well-being of workers and operations within the Gas Turbine Power Plant.
- Support the FOPS Head of operation to ensure manpower, equipment, services and procedures are adequate to comply with
- Regulatory Codes & Standards, Company Rules and Best practices as far as Safety and Environment are concerned.
- Role to be transversely engaged within Field Operations disciplines and on-board personnel in diffusing HSE philosophy and training
- with a view to continually improve COMPANY Safety Culture
- Office Power Plant annual HSE performance tracking to ensure consistency with the HSE objectives set
Activities:
- Assists the FOPS Head of Maintenance in the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environment standards & objectives, in compliance with the One MAESTRO, COMPANY HSE Management System and other COMPANY Referential.
- Ensure the e-POB is updated regularly.
- Support the FOPS HOM to actively lead Company HSE awareness and initiative schemes, ensure compliance with/application of all relevant statutory and Company HSE standards on the operational sites
- In liaison with the FOPS HOM, act as a focal point for all HSE statistics reporting relating to Field Operations onshore Office Power Plant activities weekly (Collates for review anomaly reports issued from Office Power Plant and record/trend incident)
- Ensure HSE training requirements for all OPP personnel (staff and contract) are completely captured in SafePass, HSEPass and ePOB as the case may be then monitored to drive compliance and report HSE training performance weekly.
- Stand down review of Incident/REX notifications and their Synergi cases, then follow up the implementation of all FOPS actions in Synergi arising from incident investigation reports, audits implementation, etc.
- Assist the FOPS HOM in preparation of reports on key HSE events and related FOPS activities (FORUM, CODIV, STANDOWN,
- AWAY-DAY, etc), then monitor OPP HSE Performances (objectives, activity plan, KPI)
- Develop FOPS monthly HSE Performance reports following the direction of the FOPS HOM and assist in the preparation, coordination and organization of the quarterly base HSE Committee Meetings (CODIV)
- Facilitate and participate in contractors HSE MS audits; operational sites HSE audits & inspections as well as report, monitor and update all actions emanating from them, including OPERSAFE and MAESTRO Audit corrective actions
- Participate in hazard studies / risk assessments undertaken for the modification of installations and the execution of operations when the need arises to ensure the safe execution of operations; and that risks are adequately managed
- Lead specific Operations Safety reviews in support of Request for Modification (RFM) process and Downgraded Situations (DGS) – HAZOP, HAZID, etc.
- Conducting regular inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Working with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of incidents.
- Leading and participating in safety committees and other initiatives to foster a culture of safety
- Communicating safety information effectively to all employees, including toolbox talks and safety alerts
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies
- Keeping up to date with the latest safety standards and best practices in the turbine industry.
- Ensuring that all employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
- Conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of safety programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to development of REX from event/activity reports; distribution of REX (HSE alerts, FBN, SFN) and follow up implementation of REX recommendations
- Follow up of the implementation of the FOPS HSEQ activity plan in line with the HSEQ objectives set for the year to ensure adequate monitoring, regular update and effective communication of the HSEQ activities.
- Participate in the review of key operational HSE document (SIMOPS/HSE Dossiers, specific procedures, bridging document, etc.)
- Coordinate and deliver (where required) identified HSE training needs of existing asset personnel and follow up their HSE training compliance (company and contractor); also support the FOPS HOM in providing relevant HSE awareness sessions to new persons arriving the division.
- Participate in site operations Emergency Preparedness and implementation as required including drafting of Emergency
- To make certain that all risk analyses are properly performed, and all control measures are implemented before commencement of any construction activity.
- To assist in the investigation of incident/accidents to determine their underlying causes, report anomalies and check corrective actions.
- To monitor the implementation of actions arising from incident, accident, audit and inspection analyses
- To ensure first aid materials and equipment are available on the sites, in liaison with the Contractor
- To propose amelioration actions to improve HSE efficiency and follow up on implementation of such actions. Take an active part in site activity planning and coordination meetings
Context and Environment:
- Creation of safety and security awareness and promotion of best practices with adequate emphasis on the 12 Golden Rules.
- Ensuring adequate training of personnel involved in the work on HSE related matters.
- Multi-cultural organization with multiple HSE interfaces and natural resistance to changes.
- Responsibility for providing independent audit and inspection opinion substantiated with evidence and facts. acts as a champion for safety, working to create a safe and healthy work environment for everyone involved in turbine-related activities
Accountabilities:
- Attend and facilitate the holding of site and departmental HSE committee meetings
- Coordinate DW Field Operations inputs to PPE procurement; issue of PPE to relevant crew and maintenance of contingencies
- Facilitating HSE audits (pre-start-up, facility, etc.), co-ordinate management facility inspection visits and JST facilities inspections
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum or Safety, fluent in English with good communication skills
- Professional Experience: 10 years in Oil and Gas (E&P), 5 years in HSE position of similar HSE Responsibilities
- Experience in a construction and operation environment, in Safety Engineering techniques, (HAZOP, PTR, HAZID and Audits).

2.) Legal Officer (Entry Level)

Reports To: Head of Legal
Job Scope
- The Legal Officer will provide legal support across the company’s operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, assisting with contract drafting and review, and supporting dispute resolution processes.
- This role is ideal for a recent graduate with 1–2 years of experience who is eager to grow their career in corporate law within the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Support the company in managing disputes, claims, and litigation matters.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and applicable laws.
- Maintain proper records of legal documents and correspondence.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and stakeholders as required.
- Work closely with the Head of Legal to support internal and external legal issues.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, policies, and industry regulations.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree from a recognized university.
- 0 - 2 years of post-NYSC experience in a legal role, preferably in corporate/commercial law.
- Nigerian Law School qualification (BL).

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses to optimize financial performance.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
