1.) Data Entry Clerk (Ad Hoc Staff)

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Duration: One month


Job Description

  • We are looking for ad hoc staff with basic accounting knowledge to assist with data entry responsibilities. This is a one month contract. The positioninvolves accurately entering, updating, and maintaining various data sets, particularly financial records, to ensure our databases are current and correct.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data into our systems accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and correct data where necessary
  • Update and maintain financial records
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks as required
  • Ensure data confidentiality and security
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in data entry and office software (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree / HND with 2 years experience.

Additional Information:

  • This is a temporary position for a duration of one month.
  • Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with our systems and processes.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

2.) Radiographer (Nuclear Medicine)

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Performs or assists in performing diagnostic examinations using radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals, administering radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of specialist Nuclear Physician.
  • Performs or assists in basic clinical techniques.
  • Performs and assists in department administration and associated department tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of Gamma camera to scan patients
  • QC and produce high quality diagnostic images
  • Manage patient care and optimize patient imaging and therapy administrative and radiopharmaceutical requirements
  • Operate Radioactive Laboratory in quality control of radiopharmaceuticals and preparation of radiopharmaceuticals for injection
  • Radiation protection
  • Protocol implementation in radioactive contamination
  • Planning and implementation of imaging and therapeutic protocols according to international and departmental guidelines
  • Participate in academic activities
  • Train undergraduate Radiography students in Nuclear medicine techniques
  • Train Post-graduate registrars in Nuclear Medicine equipment and techniques
  • Use software for gamma camera computers for analysis of images
  • Take responsibility for patient consent, identification and relevant clinical details prior to injections.
  • Administration and authorizations

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 2 years work experience. 

Skills:

  • This occupation has a level of skill of qualified Nuclear Medicine Radiographer.
  • Registration for Clinical Technologists is essential.

3.) Radiology Nurse

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Serve as liaison between the patient and the medical team.
  • Preparing patients for procedures.
  • Starting intravenous fluids to inject contrast media into patient for special studies.
  • Administering analgesia and sedation to patients upon instructions.
  • Develops and ensure compliance to proper infection control protocols.
  • Updating medical staff (Radiologists, Radiographers, Medical officers) on patients’ status.
  • Administering barium enema or other solutions before procedures.
  • Monitoring patients’ vital signs and/or their clinical status during procedures to identify changes.
  • Identifying unexpected reactions in patients during procedures and instituting relevant protocols to ameliorate such.
  • Reassessing patients after every procedure.
  • Documents nursing care in all assigned patient records.
  • Maintains patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times.
  • Evaluates care given including the patient response.
  • Reassesses and documents the proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes.
  • Providing care and comforting patients until discharge from the department.
  • Demonstrates ability to assess patient's understanding of and compliance with instructions and health care teaching.
  • Reviews documentation of instructions, teaching topics, and patient response with the Head Nurse/designee.
  • Participates in the development of the specialist nursing service in Radiology.
  • Participates in departmental Clinical Governance and audit and responsible for maintaining the patients nursing records.
  • Responsible for organising own daily workload of patients and liaising with the Radiologist, radiographers and administration staff, where appropriate.
  • Assist the radiology staff in facilitating service development and suggest service improvements.
  • Adheres to internal controls established for department.
  • Performs Specialist nursing procedures by assessing, planning and delivering care packages, working closely with Consultant Radiologists and other Health Care Professionals often involving interventional procedures which may include conscious sedation.
  • Be able to analyse and examine a range of options in difficult clinical situations – and offer advice for positive outcomes in a variety of complex professional judgement issues.
  • Contribute to the formulation of nursing policies and procedures – and offer suggestions for improvement, and comment on new policies.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Registered General Nursing license in good standing

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of cognate Radiology experience preferred.
