We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) HR / Admin Officer

Job Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of an HR/Admin Officer shall include:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring of qualified candidates.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientation sessions, and introductions to company policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions between employees and managers.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration: Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonus plans, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation.
  • HR Information Systems: Maintain accurate employee records and information in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases. Generate reports and analyze HR metrics.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate training sessions, and facilitate employee development programs to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Attendance and Leave Management: Track employee attendance, vacations, sick leave, and other absences. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellness: Develop and implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being. Organize employee events and activities.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate safety training, conduct risk assessments, and implement measures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the organization, such as managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Legal Compliance: Stay informed about employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Ensure that HR practices and policies align with legal requirements.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and disputes among employees or between employees and management. Mediate discussions and work towards mutually beneficial resolutions.
  • Employee Separation: Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews, processing final payments, and facilitating smooth transitions.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND, B.Sc, B.A Degree with 2-4 years of experience.

2.) Audit Support

Job Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Audit Execution:

  • Assist in planning and executing internal audits in accordance with established audit procedures.
  • Perform tests of controls and substantive testing to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies.
  • Gather and analyze audit evidence, ensuring accuracy and relevance to audit objectives.
  • Document audit findings, including issues, risks, and recommended improvements.

Data Analysis:

  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for audit purposes.
  • Identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in data that could indicate potential areas of concern or improvement.

Risk Assessment:

  • Participate in risk assessment activities to identify key areas of risk within the organization's processes.
  • Assist in developing risk-based audit plans and strategies to address identified risks.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and controls.
  • Communicate effectively with departmental personnel to gather information and provide audit-related guidance.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation, including workpapers, findings, and conclusions.
  • Ensure documentation complies with internal standards and industry best practices.

Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing clear and concise audit reports, summarizing audit findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Present findings to senior auditors and management, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should posses a B.Sc. or HND qualification in accounting with 2-4 years of experience

3.) Financial Accountant

Job Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Prepare balance sheets
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Track bank deposits and payments
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Process invoices
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Update internal systems with financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Review and implement financial policies.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Finance / Accounting
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance function.
  • Higher educational qualification/professional certification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, preferably ERM.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good data gathering, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
