1.) Senior HR Officer - Training, Development & Performance Management
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- This role is responsible for designing and implementing employee learning and performance programs.
- The Senior HR Officer will manage training initiatives, oversee performance appraisals, and support leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute learning and development strategies.
- Implement training programs and track progress using LMS.
- Assess training needs and collaborate with teams for tailored solutions.
- Manage performance appraisal cycles, goal-setting, and performance reviews.
- Support leadership development and succession planning efforts.
- Analyze training effectiveness and optimize methodologies.
- Utilize HR analytics and HRIS to track learning and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in training and performance management.
- Strong expertise in L&D, performance appraisals, and leadership development.
- Proficiency in HRIS, LMS, and Microsoft Office 365.
- CIPM Certification preferred.

- This role ensures fair pay structures, benefits administration, and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compensation structures aligned with market standards.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and benefits analysis.
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Handle audits, reporting, and regulatory documentation.
- Manage employee pension schemes, insurance, and other benefits.
- Utilize HR analytics and HRIS to track payroll, benefits, and compliance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to onboarding.
- Develop and implement employer branding initiatives.
- Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies, labor laws, and disciplinary actions.

- Drive creativity and innovation within the communications team, delivering high-quality campaigns and content.
Public Relations & Media Engagement:
- Serve as the primary media spokesperson, managing media relations and securing high-impact media placements.
- Draft press releases, speeches, and key messages for public-facing engagements.
- Foster relationships with media houses, journalists, and key industry stakeholders.
- Lead public relations and marketing activities, including press conferences, advocacy campaigns, and industry events.
Digital Strategy & Content Development:
- Oversee the development and execution of a sophisticated digital communications strategy.
- Drive growth, engagement, and content strategy for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email marketing.
- Monitor digital analytics and optimize strategies to enhance audience engagement.
- Lead the development of multimedia content, including blogs, videos, newsletters, and reports.
Internal & External Communications:
- Oversee the creation and dissemination of internal communications materials to ensure alignment across departments.
- Ensure timely and consistent documentation of impact stories, testimonials, and success narratives.
- Manage the production of publications such as newsletters, reports, brochures, and other informational materials.
Campaigns & Stakeholder Engagement:

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, International Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, or media, preferably within the nonprofit, development, or corporate sector.
- Strong media networks and proven experience securing high-level media coverage.
- Expertise in digital communications, content creation, and audience engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale campaigns, brand management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage a lean team effectively.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven technical skills in using and deploying a wide range of multimedia, web, and digital tools.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, specifically communicating complex policy ideas in an accessible and relatable style that engages audiences’ understanding.
- Excellent project management skills including experience in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Intrapreneurial spirit, with ability to work under minimal supervision, take ownership, self-starter, creative thinker, and innovative mindset.
- High skills in using different computer software packages for producing various publications and materials.
- A flair for writing and storytelling.
