1.) Human Resource Officer

Job Summary
- The Human Resource Officer will help recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures.
- He/She will be responsible for administrative tasks and will contribute to making the company a better place to work.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in humanities or any other related field.
- 0-2 years of experience as a Human Resource Officer,Admin Officer or relevant role.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus

2.) Accountant
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary
- The Accountantis to assist in coordinating the activities of the finance department; tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders, preparing budget forecasts, processing tax payments and returns.
Job Description
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Prepare budget forecasts.
- Liaise with the human resource department to maintain an effective payroll administration system.
- Publish financial statements and bookkeeping ledgers in time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
- Completing analysis of the employee expenditures.
- Managing income and expenditure accounts.
- Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data.
- Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status.
- Ensure that taxes, pension and other statutory contributions/payments are properly filed and remitted on or before government mandated deadlines.
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
- Review financial records of sales to ensure balanced accounts are maintained.
Job Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any other related field.
- 5 - 8 years of proven experience as an accountant, accounts officer or relevant role.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Professional certification is compulsory (ICAN, ACA, etc).
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage, etc.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
- Ability to work in stressful situations.

3.) Legal Officer

Job Description
- The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the organization on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and regulatory issues.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements, including vendor contracts, client agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance issues.
- Research and analyze legal issues and regulations relevant to the organization's operations and industry.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and legal trends that may impact the organization and provide recommendations for compliance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and protect the organization's intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Handle legal disputes and litigation matters, including managing outside counsel and representing the organization in court or alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Conduct legal due diligence reviews for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meetings, resolutions, and regulatory filings.
- Provide legal training and guidance to employees on legal issues and best practices.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
