We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Station Manager
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The Station Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and daily activities of the fuel station.
- He/She will also be responsible for controlling the retail operations of the fuel station.
- He/She is also to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of operations at the station, through effective utilization of human and material resources, and ensuring that staff at the station adhere to the company’s rules, regulations, and policies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Always maintain fuel/diesel pumps and storage tanks so that they function safely and efficiently.
- Train and assign schedules to employees and ensure that the station is fully staffed during operating hours.
- Enforce company’s safety and security measures within the premises.
- Ensure that the shelves in the mini mart are fully stocked and items are arranged in a way that fully maximizes sales of products.
- Must provide daily reports on inventory changes and requests as well as reports on other operational activities of the station.
- Schedule and oversee deliveries of fuel/diesel, ensure that storage and dispensing of fuel/diesel meets environmental and government regulations.
- Maintain company approved inventory stock level.
- Advice fuel/diesel prices sometimes daily to account for price change.
- Monitors and evaluates station operational and marketing results and develops strategies to promote business development and growth.
- Evaluation of daily sales, meter reading, dipping and lodgments.
- Compiles and analyzes periodic sales records and consolidates such reports to his line manager.
- Maintains excellent standards in all retail activity, driving sales and profitability through the effective deployment and development of pump attendants and cashiers in line with approved budgets.
- Coordinate the sales of fuel/diesel products and liaise with the sales and marketing team to ensure patronage is high in line with budgets and projections.
- Monitor the financial performance of the station and ensure that all financial and operational goals are timely achieved.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the company's various products and services.
- Review financial records of sales to ensure balanced accounts are maintained.
- Implements HSE Standards and controls in the retail stations.
- Collaborate with the business development team to prepare common strategies.
- Monitor competition and provide daily reports.
- Monitor competitor’s pricing and provide daily reports.
- Ensure the team at the station is up to date with sales targets.
- Report any shortage incident or equipment damage to the Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience as retail fuel station sales personnel.
- 1-2 years of experience as a retail diesel/fuel station supervisor, coordinator, team lead or any similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of retail fuel operations and inventory management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate employees.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Extensive knowledge of retail sales process.

2.) Pump Attendant
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The pump attendant is responsible for assisting customers with fueling their vehicles and providing them with products available at the fuel station.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and escalate to the station manager if there is need for replenishment.
- Sell and deliver excellent service to customers who are buying fuel or diesel.
- Feathering or adjusting fuel lines to provide equal fuel flow for all customers.
- Processing cash transactions and maintaining records of fuel/diesel sales.
- Informing customers about current fuel/diesel prices, promotions, and discounts at the station.
- Perform minor technical support duties as assigned by management.
- Provide outstanding service to our customers at all pump locations prior, during and after the sales transaction of fuel products.
- Ensure payment from pump is brought to the cashier and recorded immediately.
- Ensuring situational awareness is always being displayed.
- Responsible for reconciliation of your daily paperwork.
- Raise requisite documentation.
- Maintain problem logs for identifying and reporting issues to the management on the products or pumps.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the company's various products and services.
- Must maintain a working knowledge of operating various fuel pumps. This is to include but not limited to: Diesel, Fuel, etc.
- Do not carry more than 2 pump payments on self.
- Ensure all fuel lines from pumps are placed away from possible damage of being driven over.
- Perform other related duties and activities as requested by the station manager or the management.
- Implements HSE Standards and controls in the retail stations.
- Report any shortage incident or equipment damage to the Station Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / OND.
- 0-2 years of working experience as a pump attendant or similar role.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in stressful situations.

3.) Plumber
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced plumber to install, maintain, and repair sanitation units, water supply lines, heating systems, and associated fixtures and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
- You will also be required to design and inspect plumbing systems, perform diagnostics, and ensure they comply with regulatory codes.
- To be successful as a plumber you should be able to work independently and solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- To excel in this position, you should have strong technical skills, be a master at troubleshooting, and enjoy dealing with people.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
- Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes etc.
- Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
- Maintain accurate records on material and labour used.
- Maintain inventory of district-owned tools, equipment, and materials.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
- Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing etc.
- Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
- Work with building principals and supervisors to complete projects.
- Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures.
- Respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.
- Advises staff on the proper use of equipment to avoid breakdown and reduce repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a plumber in a LPG plant.

4.) Electrician
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary
- This role is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the electrical fittings in the LPG Plant, including the regular maintenance of the generating plant to ensure prompt response to power outage.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plans and performs regular maintenance operations on electrical fittings in the Depot.
- Filling requisition forms for new fittings and equipment.
- Attends to staff complaints about any malfunctioning electrical equipment in the Depot.
- Escalates heavy or complex maintenance issues to the appropriate stakeholder.
- Liaises with the Administrative department for the purchase of new electrical fittings/equipment.
- Performs regular servicing of the generator to ensure continuous power supply.
- Advises staff on the proper use of equipment to avoid breakdown and reduce repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an electrician in a LPG plant.
- Excellent problem analytics skills.
