1.) Direct Sales Agent

Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Job Description
As a Direct Sales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in driving Kuda’s growth objectives through proactive sales efforts, effective relationship-building, and unwavering commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.

  • Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Actively market Kuda’s array of financial products, including personal & business banking, loans, and POS terminals, to prospective customers within the designated territory.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by acquiring new customers and expanding customer base through persuasive techniques and a deep understanding of the bank’s offerings.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to close deals and achieve sales targets according to the company's pricing.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Ensure thorough compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
  • Educate potential clients on the benefits of transitioning to electronic banking solutions and ensure their seamless onboarding to our platform.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.
  • Participate in roadshows, community fairs, and other local events to promote the bank’s services and garner leads.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams on customer experiences and product improvements.
  • Understand the needs and requirements of prospective clients and proffer solutions to meet their specific business needs.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, including training and trouble shooting assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Direct Sales Agent or similar sales/customer service role; experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence potential clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • High motivation, enthusiasm, and dedication to achieving targets.
  • Familiarity with digital banking services and mobile technology.

2.) Product Manager

Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a Product Manager to join Kuda’s Fraud Prevention squad. In this role, you will focus on the strategy, development, and optimization of features aimed at preventing fraud across our platform.
  • You’ll work on enhancing fraud detection mechanisms, reducing risks, and ensuring that Kuda continues to deliver secure and trustworthy financial services to our customers.
  • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Engineering, Fraud Operation teams among others, to implement fraud prevention measures and ensure a seamless and secure user experience.
  • This is a key role in helping us protect our customers and maintain Kuda’s reputation as a reliable, secure platform for digital banking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the fraud prevention roadmap, working closely with the team to deliver features that enhance the platform’s security and reduce fraudulent activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define product requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to fraud detection and prevention.
  • Monitor fraud-related metrics and OKRs, and use these insights to inform product decisions and improvements.
  • Develop and enhance fraud prevention features, such as transaction monitoring, anomaly detection, and account verification.
  • Collaborate with the Credit, Compliance, and Engineering teams to implement fraud detection models and solutions that balance security with user experience.
  • Run and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures.
  • Prioritize product features and improvements to mitigate fraud risks while maintaining a smooth user experience.
  • Coordinate the development of features with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on fraud prevention or risk management.
  • Strong understanding of fraud detection techniques, including transaction monitoring, anomaly detection, and fraud analytics.
  • Familiarity with KYC (Know Your Customer) processes and regulatory requirements related to fraud prevention.

  • This role focuses on building reliable, scalable, and compliant credit solutions that deliver measurable business impact and exceptional customer experiences.
  • You’ll own the tribe’s roadmap, delivery, and performance, ensuring decisions are data-driven and aligned with Kuda’s broader strategic and financial goals.
  • You’ll also play a key role in building and developing a strong product team, fostering collaboration and accountability across stakeholders.
