Job Position: Head, Reporting and Performance Management

Job Description
Management & Financial Reporting:

  • Preparation of daily and monthly Management Accounts
  • Analysis of key income statement and balance lines
  • Monitoring and analysis of prudential ratios
  • Preparation of Financial Report in line with IFRS Business Analytics
  • Prepare segment/product performance report
  • Provide insightful analysis on business performance and provide recommendation to achieve business goals
  • Building financial models to forecast business performance and simulate performance based on different scenarios
  • Timely completion of the financial year budget Management Reporting
  • Timely and accurate preparation of daily and monthly Management Accounts
  • Timeliness and quality of analysis of key income statement and balance lines
  • Timeliness and quality of analysis of prudential ratios

Budgeting / Budget and Planning:

  • Ensuring that budget is in line with the business objectives of the bank
  • Coordination of bank’s budget process and delivery within the stipulated time
  • Development of model that will enhance the quality of the bank’s budget
  • Automation of bank’s budget
  • Timely completion of the financial year budget

Performance Management:

  • Automation and delivery of performance driven reports
  • Projection of future performance and recommendations
  • Development of performance driven incentive models and framework Development and improvement of key performance indicators (Financial and Social)
  • Coordination of monthly performance review sessions
  • Development of dashboards that will show trend and performance against budget
  • Delivery of daily performance reports across all hierarchies of the bank
  • Timely and accurate preparation of daily Scorecard, Business Unit Performance Report and other ad hoc performance reports
  • Quality of reward, recognition and intervention frameworks developed
  • Improvement on the bank’s performance metrics

Business Analytics:

  • Prepare segment/product performance report
  • Provide insightful analysis on business performance and provide recommendation to achieve business goals
  • Building financial models to forecast business performance and simulate performance based on different scenarios

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. / HND in numerical discipline preferably in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Statistics
  • Master's degree in Accounting/Finance is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in reporting, business analytics and performance management in a financial institution
  • Professional qualification including ACA/ACCA/CIMA and CFA is essential
  • Good reporting and analytical skills
  • Proficient in the knowledge and use of Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in the use of BI tools like
  • PowerBI, Tableay etc

  • Oversee the design and optimization of human capacity

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of relevant labour and employment laws and statutory requirements

Role Summary

Job Position: Inventory Accountant
Job Location: Lagos
Reporting to: Finance Manager

Role Summary

  • This role is responsible for handling accounting functions for Frutta relating to the cost of inventory and fixed asset accounting. This includes merchandise and materials on hand, as well as determining inventory accounting methods, analyze inventory reports and monitor all inventory transactions.
  • This professional is responsible for determining inventory costs so that the team can determine selling prices for goods and make other informed decisions. This role is also responsible for monitoring of the fixed asset, keeping track of assets from the moment they are purchased to the moment they are sold and ensure that they are accounted for appropriately.

Job Description

  • Management of the inventory sub-ledger and general ledger
  • Management of inventory holding levels
  • Inventory costing and standardization of costing methodologies
  • Monthly Stock Count, valuation and reporting
  • Reconciliation of Cost of Sales Analysis and manufacturing cost
  • Determination of stock adjustment requirements
  • Development of inventory aging and inventory days reports
  • Determination of landing cost, product cost and margin analysis
  • Provision of inventory financial inputs to forecast and budget models
  • Providing support to the supply chain team on inventory planning and controls

  • Perform regular physical inventory counts of fixed assets
  • Give recommendations to management regarding the disposal (or not) of fixed assets
  • Perform analysis related to fixed assets when requested by management
  • Prepare audit schedules for fixed assets and responsible for auditor’s inquiries
  • Liaises with government agents during audits of fixed assets
  • Monitor the expenditures of the company for fixed assets in comparison to capital budget and management authorizations
  • Fully responsible for disposal of fixed asset
  • Any other task as assigned by the Finance Manager

Qualifications

  • University Degree / HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Social Science
  • Membership of ICAN is an added advantage
  • Equivalent Experience in Inventory Accounting, Stock take & Record keeping in FMCG Industry/Supply Chain is essential.
