Job Position: Junior QA Engineer

Role Summary
- As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the quality assurance processes, ensuring that Drugstoc’s software applications and systems are reliable, efficient, and meet user requirements.
- This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Testing and Validation:
- Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and performance issues.
- Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure quality standards are met.
Test Plan Development:
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create test cases and scenarios.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and scripts based on project requirements.
Defect Management:
- Identify, document, and track software defects in a structured manner using bug-tracking tools.
- Work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to ensure alignment on project goals and quality benchmarks.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Assist in improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the overall testing framework.
- Stay updated on emerging QA practices and tools to ensure industry relevance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
