Job Position: Laravel Back-end Developer

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description


  • Strong understanding of PHP: This is the foundation for Laravel development.
  • Laravel Framework: Proficiency in Laravel concepts like MVC architecture, Blade templating, Eloquent ORM, artisan commands, and security features.
  • Unit Testing: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like PHPUnit to write unit tests for Laravel code.
  • Version Control: Experience using Git for version control and collaboration.
  • SQL Databases: Experience working with relational databases, primarily MySQL, for data storage and retrieval using Laravel's Eloquent ORM.
  • HTML, CSS, and Javascript: Basic understanding of front-end technologies for working with Laravel views and integrating with frontend frameworks.
  • RESTful APIs: Ability to design and build RESTful APIs using Laravel features.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees with 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Software Methodologies
  • Hardcore knowledge of programming in PHP (using Laravel framework) Preference will be given to candidates who can prove their expertise in developing real-life systems and applications with the language Hardcore knowledge of Relational Database Management System, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming. All codes must be written in OOP Knowledge of AJAX, J-Query, ANGULAR JS, MVC 4 or 5, HTML 5, BOOTSTRAP, Microsoft Office.
  • Must demonstrate great awareness of web security techniques Must use a Version Control system such as Git and Mercurial (or be willing to learn).
