Role Overview The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing legal guidance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the company's real estate transactions and investment operations. Key Responsibilities Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements related to real estate and investments. Providing expert legal advice on real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Managing legal due diligence processes and overseeing property acquisitions and sales. Representing the company in legal proceedings, including dispute resolution and litigation as required. Liaising with regulatory authorities, clients, and external counsel on legal matters. Advising management on potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping of all legal activities. Requirements A minimum of 3-5 years of post-call experience in a legal practice or corporate setting, with significant exposure to real estate law. Strong knowledge of Nigerian real estate laws and regulations. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
