We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Lawyer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Industry: Law Firm
Report To: Managing Partner

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

• Prepare and file legal documents such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds.
• Advise and represent clients in courts, before government agencies, and in private legal matters.
• Interview new clients and meet with existing clients to render legal advice.
• Communicate with the clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
• Present facts in writing and verbally to clients.
• Monitor legal risk in the documentation and give guidance on the acceptable assumption of risk
• Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence.
• Collect, examine and organize the evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.
• Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleading and contracts

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an admitted attorney.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of the shreds of evidence and other matters.
• Sound analytical skills and strategic thinking
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills

Salary
N50,000 / Month
