Job Position: Logistics Officer
Job Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are looking for professionals who are responsible for ensuring that supply chain is efficient and effective throughout the organization. They must be able to organise, store and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destination.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory
• Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
• Monitor and manage budgets
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Keep up to date on shipping carriers, route and rates and any changes of them
• Respond to and resolve complaints and problems
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipment

Requirements and Skills

• Proven working experience as a logistics manager
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• OND or ND Certificate

Salary
N120,000 per month.
