Alibert Product Nigeria Limited was created in 1974 as a small factory and family-owned business. The first retail showroom was opened in 1986 in Ikoyi; a second retail shop in Apapa in 1990. The first retail shop outside Lagos (Abuja) was opened in 2003. In 2010, Alibert became the first furniture company in Nigeria to export its furniture + opening of new showroom outside of Nigeria (Ghana). Today, we have a network of 5 showrooms and 3 franchise showrooms.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Mechanical Technician and Maintenance Manager
Job Location: Idu, Abuja

Job Summary

• Responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department. This includes managing the upkeep of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget and resources and assisting in the design, installation, and fixing of new systems, cars and machineries.

Job Description

• Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules. Develop robust knowledge of all product lines / services
• Developing and maintaining associate safety standards.
• Repair and maintain machinery
• Analyze machine test results and make adjustments to meet company specifications
• Developing and maintaining quality standards.
• Maintains manufacturing assets (trucks, vehicles, machineries) and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, and manages the department budget.
• Devise preventative measures to avoid machine downtime
• Produce various literature, signage, merchandise, and other materials to be used at field marketing events
• Managing, maintaining, and establishing maintenance procedures for production lines in a food manufacturing environment to ensure production meets or performs better than budget.
• Develop associate and supervisor skills by conducting training meetings; one on one development sessions; outside technical skills training; and establishing and monitoring performance reviews for supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven managerial experience.
• Excellent technical knowledge of equipment, products and processes.
• Strong knowledge in Maintenance and Reliability.
• Strong knowledge / experience managing maintenance through CMMS (
• Computerized Maintenance Management system ).
• Good Knowledge of machines and tools, Trucks and vehicle repairs.
