Job Position: HR / Admin Intern

Responsibilities


  • Assisting with Human Resources responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management (Appraisal & Confirmation), Learning & Leave Management e.t.c.
  • Assisting with managing company’s CUG, registering joiners entitled to CUG, deactivating leavers, and raising payment for overall CUG monthly bills.
  • Assisting with preparing notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions.
  • Assisting with conducting exit interviews, drafting offer/appointment letters and HR policies.  
  • Assisting with up-dating and maintaining staff files, processing staff leave request e.t.c.
  • Assisting with monitoring daily attendance of staff thereby investigating causes of staff absences and coordinating actions to ensure such are duly covered for.

Admin Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with raising payment memo for purchases and payment transactions, outsource drivers’ allowance, seminar & travel costs, petty cash e.t.c. using SharePoint platform.
  • Assisting with managing office stock supplies, placing orders, reviewing contracts for suppliers, negotiating and monitoring contract agreements with service providers, leasing agents and others. Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, working properly.
  • Assisting with hiring and supervising maintenance vendors to repair or replace damaged office equipment while also coordinating acquisition and usage.
  • Assisting with arranging travel transportation and accommodations for employees and guests on official assignment.
  • Assisting with receiving incoming mails and documents, opening, sorting, storing, and distributing correspondences. Preparing outgoing mails for courier or dispatch.
  • Assisting with ensuring approved consumables are purchased and stored appropriately.
  • And any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND degree in social sciences or related field.
  • No prior experience is required as candidate will be trained on the job.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including outlook is required.
  • Confident and enthusiastic.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Candidate must reside around Yaba for easy commute to the office.
  • Serving NYSC corps members can also be considered.

Salary
N71,000 per month.
