We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Assistant Procurement Manager

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Act as primary point of contact for suppliers.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on company requirements.
  • Research vendors to identify best options, evaluating total cost and quality.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and communicate price fluctuations and vendor pricing updates to relevant departments.
  • Engage in SLA service agreements, collaborating with end-users and legal department to ensure favourable terms.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement innovative and cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Review existing contracts to ensure ongoing feasibility.
  • Analyse current spend and identify areas for cost reduction and service improvement.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-spend, complex, and critical categories.
  • Play a key role in the sourcing and procurement of capital equipment.
  • Review purchase orders and manage the delivery of goods and services.
  • Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term cost savings.
  • Work closely with operations and finance to develop and implement an MRO inventory management system.
  • Provide direction and support to teams on critical business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather category requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough spend analysis and develop tracking methodologies and metrics.
  • Prepare procurement reports.
  • Attend audit meetings and address any audit and compliance issues

Requirements

  • A Degree (B.Sc / HND Preferably in Accounting / Business Administration / Engineering)
  • Minimum of five (5) Years of experience in indirect procurement
  • Proven experience in indirect procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with suppliers
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (Navision)
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and systems.

2.) Quality Assurance Manager

Job Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality vision for assigned business units
  • Responsible for all Packaging Products Quality
  • Responsible for Packaging development
  • Drive cost savings projects relating to packaging
  • Lead all Quality related loss elimination across site, identifying, eliminating, simplifying, combining and reducing QA work processes and losses.
  • Responsible for Projects management of all packaging projects, and ensuring projects deliverables are met on time, within budgets, and no technical failure.
  • Responsible for conducting all Quality Audits of Suppliers and all SAT and FAT for new process lines for assigned business units.
  • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating all New Products development (NPD) and Existing product development (EPD) in alignment with Marketing team.
  • Responsible for all quality input during engineering design process, all initiatives and projects (new equipment, building or capacity expansion).
  • Responsible for Leading Packaging team which develop new Packaging options and Technology.
  • Responsible for developing Packaging strategy and inputs into development of R&D Strategic plan for assigned business units.
  • Drive the Quality of products and packaging across the entire group and benchmarking of products and Packaging.
  • Design and review of product pallet configuration for assigned business units.
  • Design and review of product pallet configuration for assigned business units.

Requirements and Skills

  • Requires academic Qualification packaging technology (Through regular education & not short-term certified programs obtained online)
  • 4 – 5 Years of experience in handling Quality aspects of packaging materials (Specifications development / Proficiency in Packaging Lab. operation)
  • 5+ years’ experience in Quality Control in Packaging operations
  • 3+ years in Supplier Quality Assurance
  • 3 – 4 Years of staff development / coaching
  • Soft skills: Good communication skills (Written / verbal), ability to handle complexity /Problem solving.

Additional - Added advantage:

  • Knowledge / certifications on QMS / Food safety system
  • Statistical process control.

3.) Assistant Account Payable Manager (TGI Mart)

Job Location: Anthony, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Objectives

  • The Assistant Account Payable Manager would be responsible for the smooth running and management of the Accounts payable unit.
  • Saddled with the other tasks of providing reports to aid management decision as regards payment, processing of payment documents in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner and provision of other accounting support.

Responsibilities

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Enter and upload invoices into system and post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Processing payment document in accordance with internal procedures and policy as well as in compliance with legal requirements i.e., Tax laws.
  • Process Freight Payments and other third parties’ payments by recording entry; verifying documentation and making sure to release the payments within stipulated timelines.
  • Reports of VAT and WHT by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
  • Produce monthly reports, assist in month end closing and other projects as needed
  • Track expenses and process expense reports such as floats, travels, staff vendors advance etc.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions including vendor statements and prepare analysis of accounts
  • Provide data for working capital forecasting requirements for vendors and other creditors.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining liaison with suppliers to ensure that payments are made promptly, and accounts are up to date.
  • Regular communication with internal and external clients via phone and email correspondence on payment matters
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits and performs other duties as required to support the department.

Qualification and Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting)
  • 4 - 8 years in account payable or general accounting procedures
  • An accounting professional certification in either ACCA, ICAN or equivalents
  • Knowledge of NAVISON or a similar system is an advantage
  • Ability to meet deadline, multi-task and follow-up on pending issues
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Ability to use MS Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Must be open to change and willing to learn new skills
