We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:


1.) Branch Sales Manager

Job Locations: Kwara and Lagos

About the Job

  • We are in search of a Branch Sales Manager to join our growing team. You will build, own and grow the general trade channel in the branch in collaboration with the head of growth operations. Acquire, develop and retain business relationships with general trade customers within the branch's coverage area.

Responsibilities

  • Sales: Develop and implement a trade coverage plan, working closely with the growth analyst. along with other related commercial activities to deliver the branch's number.
  • Marketing: Manage branch specific brand engagements and initiatives.
  • Deploy the necessary infrastructure and process to deliver brand and trade programs to meet the branch's requirements. This will be based on market research/survey carried out jointly.
  • Develop a customer retention strategy for the branch. Increase levels of trade support and customer loyalty by ensuring there is an established close working relationship with the Trade Supervisors.
  • Work closely with the brand team to execute in-store promotions and initiatives to drive sell-in and sell-out within the Branch.
  • Design and implement a tactical sales plan that expands TradeDepot’s retail outlet base and ensure its strong presence
  • Team leadership: Manage and monitor and a team of Trade Supervisors effectively and efficiently.
  • Build and Maintain the branch’s customer database through efficient consolidation of quantitative and qualitative customer data points working closely with the growth analyst.
  • Ensure adherence to set goals and KPI’s developed for the Branch champion innovation in the development of trade programs in the Branch and track ongoing results.
  • Ensure that objectives in terms of active customers, Lines, order frequency etc. are always met.
  • Ensure adherence to customer trading terms (bonus, credit and discounts) for general trade customers in the branch in alignment with the head of growth operations.
  • Monitor market execution of all initiatives in the branch through frequent market visits.
  • Manage the productivity and cost optimization of the branch.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a B.Sc or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a similar role in the FMCG sector.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Has an excellent analytical skills.
  • Good commercial understanding of numerical skills, a high level of computer literacy.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Fully geographically mobile.
  • Ability to work flexibly.

2.) Key Account Manager (Modern Trade)

Job Locations: Lagos Island, Lekki, Ajah - Lagos

  • We are in search of a Key Account Manager (Modern Trade) to join our expanding team. You are responsible to ensure sales targets are met through a focus on winning and developing productive long term relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the modern trade sales strategy & growth plans in line with the business strategy.
  • Drive profitability and deliver on the revenue parameters.
  • Category management and Promotion planning.
  • Driving operational efficiency for modern trade channels.
  • Monitoring performance and taking corrective actions.
  • Responsible for achieving planned sales by channel and customer.
  • Ensure in-store availability of all SKUs at all times.
  • Align and execute trade marketing and trade promotions interventions with the modern trade sales strategy and overall business strategy.
  • Prioritizing and deploying of available spending towards strategic focus areas and activities for chains and brands.
  • Achieving consistent growth by managing various internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2-3 experience in Sales, especially sales related in supermarkets, Retailer Chains/ Modern Trade Channel.
  • Good understanding of modern trade channels.
  • Positive attitude, detail with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

3.) Loan Portfolio Manager

Job Locations: Apapa / Boundary, Festac / Ago / Mile 2, Epe, Ajegunle / Ijora / Badia, Abranje / LASU / Isheri Olofin and Alakuko / Sango / Agbado - Lagos

Summary

  • The Portfolio Management team is a team of agents responsible for building and managing a loan portfolio of borrowers, directly from TradeDepot’s retailer audience.
  • You will be in charge of everything to do with managing borrowers and making sure that your portfolio is of the highest quality, including performing collections and recovery activities, making sure that these are done on time and in full.
  • Your duties would be to take ownership of your account - including conducting retailer profiling and assessment, collection of KYC, verification and due diligence required before recommending them to receive credit.
  • You will be responsible for delivering on all metrics associated with their portfolio, and must be able to take supervision from the leadership team, while also collaborating with other portfolio manager agents.

Responsibilities

  • Perform activities to convert borrowers from existing retailer audience, including field visits and phone calls.
  • Gain thorough understanding of the loan product and the company’s operational processes, and communicate these to potential and existing borrowers.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality portfolio of borrowers according to targets communicated by the supervisor on a weekly basis.
  • Be accountable for borrowers in your portfolio and ensure they are able to borrow and repay their loans on time and in full.
  • Be responsible for the success of your individual portfolio, including knowing how much capital to deploy to where, for how long, and where to get the best return.
  • Be responsible for collections and recovery of outstanding loans, according to the company’s collections/recovery policy
  • Comply with all instructions and targets set by team lead, supervisor, and managers
  • Use technology tools and apps provided by the company to onboard and manage borrowers in your portfolio
  • Leverage data and insights provided by the company and team leads on the best areas to focus on.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting to team leads and supervisors.
  • Alert supervisors and team leads to bad borrower behaviour, signs of default in one’s portfolio

Requirements

  • University Degree, Polytechnic, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a loan origination/collections officer and has sound understanding of portfolio management and credit risk.
  • Prior experience in loan management, portfolio management, or other credit risk function.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with retailer audiences and SME/Micro SME lending is a bonus.
  • Must have experience using smartphones, and be familiar with mobile app usage.
  • Ability to work strategically, while staying within the guidelines prescribed for the job role.
