Trithel's first engagements in 1992, were from two, prominent, Nigerian companies namely CAKASA Nigeria Company Limited (CSNL), a foremost oil and gas services and engineering firm (popularly regarded as the BECHTEL of Nigeria), and the National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), charged with the responsibility of overseeing the upstream sector of the Nigerian Oil industry.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose


  • To provide seamless and effective management of the company’s financial resources, business forecasting and financial guidance that strengthens the company’s business operations and fosters company’s growth.

The Accountabilities of the Role are

  • Responsible for overall Finance and Accounting activities of the company.
  • Actively supports the MD/CEO to ensure efficient operation and growth of the company.
  • Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
  • Achieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; and initiating corrective actions.
  • Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
  • Develop and implement modern cost- effective accounting systems that will meet the challenges and objectives of the company.
  • Perform risk management functions.
  • Manage the bank and treasury processes of the company
  • Monthly management reporting packages and analysis.
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting and variation reporting to identify areas requiring attention and areas of possible improvement
  • To ensure completeness, accuracy and correctness of all treasury records and reports; and
  • Oversee the capital raising activities of the company
  • Develop key financial processes including budgeting, management & financial accounting/reporting
  • Maintain good relationships with all relevant statutory agencies and ensure compliance with regulations on the operations of the company
  • Ensure prompt and timely rendition of returns to relevant statutory agencies.

Requirements
Educational Background:

  • A good Accounting Degree from a top tier Nigerian university or institution.
  •  Professional Accounting qualification: ACCA or ICAN.

Experience:

  • 5 years of minimum proven practical experience.

2.) Mechanical Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Monitoring the maintenance of operations and repair in compliance with company quality standards and requirements;
  • Carrying out routine checks on all mechanical and industrial equipment;
  • Assisting and supporting HSES teams in ensuring compliance to Safety and Security Policies and procedures of the company;
  • Championing the enforcement of standards and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment;
  • Designing, evaluating, installing, operating, and maintaining mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles;
  • Coordinating the activities of all services departments directed at keeping the production plants in good operating condition;
  • Identifying research opportunities and recommending novel techniques to enhance the reliability, capacity and cost effectiveness of equipment operations;
  • Investigating equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew;
  • Following standard maintenance execution job procedures in the execution of all tasks in the plant;
  • Ensuring safe working conditions and good safe practices are applied and maintained at work; and
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company Quality Management system and customer specifications or contracts.

Requirements

  • A good Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields from a reputable institution.
  • 2 - 3 years of cognate experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in the use of rotary screw air compressors, Pneumatic valves, drivers (Pulley, Belts, etc) pumps, chillers and other industrial equipment.

Skills:

  • Proven leadership skills
  • Proficient in design and calculation software
  • Result oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes related to mechanical engineering.

3.) Electrical Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Conducting installation and commissioning activities in line with the work scope;
  • Performing all assigned jobs according to the technical and work instructions supplied;
  • Managing the design and execution of electrical projects in line with given specifications and time schedule;
  • Generating method statements and risk assessments pertaining to the development of the work scope;
  • Ensuring that all job documentation is provided on a clear and timely basis;
  • maintaining best practices and adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, both on-site and within a workshop environment;
  • Managing the repair of all electrical installations, maintenance of all electrical panels/machines/discharge equipment and ensuring that all the daily maintenance targets are met;
  • Keeping equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions, IEE regulations and established procedures;
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and rectifying system faults within available timescales;
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company Quality Management system and customer specifications or contracts; and
  • Coordinating of electrical/instrumentation maintenance activities towards achieving optimum overall plant operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • A good Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related fields from a reputable institution.
  • 2 - 3 years of cognate experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • A proven practical track record in a similar service or automation engineering role.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Result oriented and strong organisational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Instrumentation communication.
