Job Description


  • As the Procurement Manager at Mazelle Bridals, you will oversee the sourcing and purchasing of materials, fabrics, and accessories necessary for the production of our bridal collections.
  • Your role is crucial in ensuring that our designs are crafted from the finest materials, delivered on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely availability of high-quality materials.
  • Forecast procurement needs based on production schedules and design requirements.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory turnover rates and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Prepare and manage the procurement budget.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best deals without compromising quality.
  • Manage and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Implement cost-saving measures while ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials.
  • Analyze market trends to anticipate price changes and their impact on costs.
  • Ensure all procured materials meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the quality control team to inspect and verify the quality of materials received.
  • Work closely with the design and production teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payments and financial reconciliation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
  • Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in the fashion or bridal wear industry.
  • Strong knowledge of textile materials, sourcing, and supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in using procurement management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
