Job Summary
- As a Procurement Manager, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for the success of our project.
- You’ll manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement plan aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and reliability.
Vendor Management:
- Source, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers, focusing on quality, cost-efficiency, and delivery timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Contract Management:
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.
- Monitor and manage contract performance, addressing any deviations or disputes proactively.
Supply Chain Oversight:
- Oversee the entire supply chain, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment to the project site.
- Anticipate potential bottlenecks and develop contingency plans to avoid delays.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Identify risks within the procurement process and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines and budgets.
Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize procurement performance and drive efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in procurement of electrical and instrumentation equipment, preferably in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.
