We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Officer
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the organization's objectives and requirements
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices
• Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality control
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and develop procurement plans
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products, and stay up-to-date with industry trends
• Analyze and report on procurement data, including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 3 - 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role within the Health, Wellness, and Fitness industry
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contracting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
