Class Suites Hotels & Apartment is a modern styled hotel chain with numerous locations in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan and is in close proximity to the Airport.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Officer
Job Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate Resumption

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and vendor management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, establish and maintain good relationships with vendors, and manage contracts.
• Negotiation and purchasing: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to get the best value. Place purchase orders for necessary items, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Inventory and receiving: Manage stock levels, receive deliveries, and perform stock takes to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.
• Quality control: Inspect purchased goods to ensure they meet hotel standards and resolve any quality issues with suppliers promptly.
• Compliance and reporting: Ensure all purchases comply with hotel policies and relevant laws and regulations. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Prepare and submit purchase reports and expense claims.
• Logistics and distribution: Arrange for the transportation and delivery of items to the hotel and manage their storage and distribution.
• Collaboration: Liaise with other department heads to understand their needs and gather feedback on purchased items.
