African Steel Mills Nigeria Limited is a leading Manufacturer and Supplier of Steel Products, including Steel Bars.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Specialist

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process for various projects and operations within the company.
• The ideal candidate will have technical expertise and experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of the procurement process, from needs assessment to contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and develop procurement strategies accordingly
• Float RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and manage the tendering process
• Evaluate vendor responses based on technical and commercial factors
• Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
