PAMO University of Medical Sciences (PUMS), Port Harcourt, Rivers State invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below in the University:

Faculty: Basic Clinical Sciences
Department: Pharmacology

Description
The department of Pharmacology is in need of qualified Professors in the following areas:

• Histopathology/Morbid Anatomy
• Haematology/Blood Transfusion
• Medical Microbiology/Parasitology/Virology.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Applicant must have been a Reader or Associate Professor for four (4) years and possess a Doctorate Degree and/or FWACP, FMC Path with at least ten (10) years University teaching and research experience in the relevant discipline.
• Must also have a good record of scholarly publications of at least twenty (20) Journals papers of which six (6) must be published offshore plus four (4) referred proceedings.
• Must have adequate administrative experience.

Conditions of Service

• As contained in the Human Resource Policy Document of the University.

Salary and Allowances
Salary and allowances are at enhanced level above those presently in Public Universities in Nigeria.
