Job Description


  • Maintain a comprehensive database of property lease agreements, including key details such as terms, payment schedules, and renewal dates.
  • Responsible for determining suitable methods for distributing utility and service expenses among occupants across the company's properties. Communicate these charges to tenants regularly to ensure complete cost recovery and maximize profitability for the company across its diverse locations.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting lease-related expenses and income to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Implement effective credit control measures to ensure timely collection of rent and other lease-related payments.
  • Monitor tenant accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments, collaborating with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Analyze lease-related costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Facilitate communication and negotiations with landlords or leasing agents regarding lease terms, amendments, and terminations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to lease terms and conditions, including rental payments and maintenance responsibilities.
  • Monitor and track lease-related expenses, including rent, service charges, and utilities, and prepare accurate financial reports for management review.
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize expenses associated with property leases, reviewing and approving lease-related invoices for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing property leases.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date lease documentation, including agreements, amendments, and correspondence, and assist in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with lease terms.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies.

Qualifications
Required Qualification:

  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting or Equivalent

Required Skill:

  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook); Excellent verbal and communication skills.
